Social Studies is and has been, by far my favorite subject to learn about and teach.  I hope to share my enthusiasm for the subject area with my students this year. 

According to the Ohio State Standards the following strands will be covered this year:

•History

•People in Societies

•Geography

•Economics

•Government

•Citizenship Rights and Responsibilities

•Social Studies Skills and Methods

For each unit we cover this year there will be a project and/ or unit test.  The projects will typically be technology based.  Several resources will be posted on this website.  So, bookmark this page, make it your best friend, hug it, love it.  It will help you through this school year.
